Project Blue Book T-Shirt | UFO Archive Case Files Tee

Unlike most of the names that circulate in UFO conspiracy lore, Project Blue Book was entirely real, and entirely acknowledged. Run by the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1969, it was the government's official investigation into unidentified aerial phenomena, cataloguing more than 12,000 reported sightings over seventeen years across three successive study names, Sign, Grudge, and finally Blue Book.

The project's own conclusion was that the overwhelming majority of cases had conventional explanations, weather phenomena, aircraft, astronomical objects, and simple misidentification. But a small percentage, several hundred cases, were closed as genuinely unexplained even by the investigators' own standards, and it's that unresolved residue that's kept Blue Book at the centre of UFO history ever since. Its 1969 closure, rather than settling the question, only fuelled decades of speculation about what its final report left out.

This design renders the archive exactly as it might have looked at the height of the investigation, a case file drawer packed with witness statements, sighting reports, and evaluations, a UFO photograph pulled halfway out under the label "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena." Rendered in weathered sepia and black, styled like a genuine government records room.
