Our round, contented penguin is sprawled across a classic red-and-white striped deckchair. It's wearing teal sunglasses, sitting with its orange feet up, and holding a tropical cocktail garnished with an orange slice and paper umbrella. Behind it, a bold retro sunset in bands of red, orange and gold sinks into a turquoise sea, framed by silhouetted palm trees. The motto, in chunky vintage lettering, says it all: Zero Plans, Max Vibes.

A sun-faded, distressed finish gives it the look of a well-loved 70s beach tee. It's made for lazy holidays, slow weekends and anyone who's perfected the art of doing absolutely nothing.

Not every penguin lives on ice

Penguins in the sun aren't as far-fetched as they sound. The Galápagos penguin lives almost on the equator, the only penguin species found naturally in the Northern Hemisphere. The African penguin makes its home on the warm beaches of South Africa and Namibia, where colonies waddle between sunbathers at Boulders Beach near Cape Town. This one has just taken the beach life a step further.
