Order of Aviz | Portuguese Medieval Knight & Military Order

Celebrate the legacy of Portugal's great medieval military order with Order of Aviz — Por Bem Servir, a richly detailed historical design inspired by the knights, heraldry and enduring influence of the Order of Aviz.

At the centre stands an imposing Knight of Aviz, clad in armour beneath a weathered white mantle bearing the Order's distinctive green fleur-de-lis cross. His shield and banner repeat the vivid green emblem, creating a striking contrast against the pale stone of a Portuguese hilltop fortress.

Beyond the battlements, the landscape descends towards the Atlantic, where ships catch the golden light of the setting sun. An ornate green-and-gold border surrounds the scene, incorporating medieval knotwork with blue-and-white Portuguese azulejo-inspired decoration, giving the artwork an unmistakably Portuguese character.
